proclaims the poet's unalterable trust in God,

And when he is tormented by the enemy, who
as though thrusting a sword into his body, taunts

In the first part (verses 2 and 3) the Psalmist mote 011

fear these, for the very floods reflect the God-made
laws of nature, by which, if we reverently study

In the next part (verses 4 to 6) the Psalmist

City of God, the holy abiding place of the Most

in the hearts of those who put their faith in God

Infinite wisdom decrees, no matter what may be
their danger.
