tions. Many will recollect the passage
in Abbe Carme's Life of Madame de
Farcey, "When the soul arrives in heaven,
God takes it on His knees and calls it
His daughter. " And have we not a lovely
companion passage in the sixteenth canto
of the " Purgatorio ":

tions. Many will recollect the passage
in Abbe Carme's Life of Madame de
