No More Learning

When his father's friends happened
to ride with them, Frank found it dis-
agreeable to be silent, especially as the
conversation sometimes turned on sub-
jects which did not           him, and
which he fancied that he could not un-
derstand ; yet he had sense enough to
attend to what was said, and he found,
that he often learned more than he
could have done by talking himself,
even of what he was most anxious to
say;
