No More Learning

To appreciate the meaning of the partition of
Poland it is necessary to imagine America in possession
of Ireland, and Great Britain divided between France
and Germany, to imagine books and newspapers pub-
lished in the South of England           in the rest of
the kingdom, and all English schools and universities
North of the Trent abolished, in Ireland none but
Americans qualified to buy land, and in Scotland, the
North and Midlands only Germans allowed to build
houses.
